⛰ Xunantunich is one of Belize’s most iconic Maya archaeological sites, located just outside San Ignacio near the village of Succotz. The name means “Stone Woman,” inspired by a local legend of a mysterious female spirit said to appear among the ruins. ⛰ Caracol is the largest and most powerful ancient Maya city ever discovered in Belize.
